This application is Peer-to-peer based, able to function locally on a LAN or over the Internet using webRTC encrypted streaming technology.

This is the official native iOS app version of VDO.Ninja. It presents a subset of functionalities when compared to the web-based version, accessible on Safari at vdo.ninja. The distinguishing features of this iOS app version include background VoiP support and background screen sharing capabilities which are exclusive to this app and not available on the web platform.

To utilize this application:

1. Select the desired camera, microphone, or screen share option to proceed to the setup page.
2. Settings on the setup page are optional and can be left unaltered. A default Stream ID is provided if left blank, although users can input a custom alphanumeric value.
3. Click "Connect" and grant any Camera/Microphone permissions if prompted. For screen sharing, select the VDO.Ninja broadcast service.
4. Utilize the URL provided at the top of the page in OBS as a browser source or any remote browser to instantly access the video/audio stream.

Note: Stream IDs must be alphanumeric, unique, and free of spaces. Additionally, remember that capitalization is significant.

Refer to VDO.Ninja documentation for guidance on configuring bitrate, codec, among other settings. These adjustments can be made on the viewer-side in the browser. For instance, adding &stats to the viewer URL will display bitrate, resolution, and frame rate details.

Please access VDO.Ninja via Safari at vdo.ninja for bidirectional calling capabilities. This performant web application boasts feature-rich functionalities including group chat options.
